Feedback Foundation has been empanelled by Bhopal Municipal Corporation for spreading awareness across all wards of the city on Solid Waste Management. Under this intervention, the team is organising various awareness activities and is sensitizing the citizens about the parameters of Swachh Survekshan 2021 and how they can support the initiative. One such campaign is ‘Malasur Campaign’ under which citizens are being educated on the importance of septic tank cleaning. The team motivated the residents to clean their septic tanks every three years, so that the tanks don’t overflow, as overflowing leads to pollution and contamination of ground water, causing many diseases. The citizens were apprised of safe sanitation practices.
