A Plog run was conducted by Feedback Foundation on 6th March 2022 at Forest Chowk, Near Natraj Chowk in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand under the United Nations Development Programme for Plastic Recycling Management. During the run, littered plastic waste polluting the nearby area were picked by all the participants. Sanitary Inspector Mr. Santosh Gusain, Mr. Subhash Semwal, Mr. Ravi Singh, MIS expert Mr. Gurmeet Singh from Nagar Nigam, team members of Lok Paryavaran Siksha Santhan and members of forest department were also present during the drive. Total 210 Kgs of plastic waste was collected during the drive and sent to Material Recovery Facility [MRF] at Govind Nagar for Recycling.
