Two Five-day Training of Mobilizers (ToM) have been facilitated by Feedback Foundation at Papua New Guinea in the month of August 2019. One at Nawaeb District from 12-16 August, and another at Bougainville from 22 – 26 August. These workshops were aimed at enhancing the capacity of the Community Mobilizers on CLTS approach and creating a critical and dedicated district resource pool to augment and accelerate the implementation of safe sanitation and hygiene related activities to make the Districts ODF.  182 mobilizers have been trained at Nawaeb and 169 at Bougainville. These workshops were organised by the Implementation Partner, World Vision and supported by UNICEF.

These workshops are part of the interventions being carried out under the UNICEF supported project titled, ‘Strengthening the CLTS Capacity of four District Teams of Papua New Guinea viz. Central Bougainville, Nawaeb, Goroka and Mt Hagen’.
