Feedback Foundation conducted 1 Day workshop in Davagiri to aid 24×7 water supply in rural Karnataka. Jal Jeevan Mission aims to provide safe drinking water to every household by 2026. 85% of households, have functional household tap connections, but sustainable operation and maintenance remains a challenge. To bridge the gap,, the Government of Karnataka has joined forces with the World Bank and Feedback Foundation Charitable Trust. 10. Together, they aim to institutionalize sustainable operation and maintenance of drinking water supply schemes in 8 districts of rural Karnataka. This ambitious collaboration focuses on four key objectives: 1. To build capacities of the state, district, block and GP level functionaries 2. To create a pool of champions trained & skilled in facilitating implementers at village level 3. To create a demonstrable model for 24/7 water supply across selected 8 districts 4.
