Feedback Foundation, in collaboration with the Government of Karnataka and The World Bank Group, is working to institutionalize sustainable 24×7 water supply in 5 districts of rural Karnataka. A district-level sensitization workshop was held for officers and staff who will mentor facilitators to create 100 villages with 24×7 water supply by August 15, 2025, in Davangere district. A 4-day Training of Trainers for Champions was organized from April 4-7, 2025, with 78 participants. Two villages, Hanagavadi and Kanagondanahalli, were declared as 24×7 water supply villages. The project has four key objectives: enhancing capacities of functionaries, creating a pool of trained champions, demonstrating a model for 24×7 water supply, and providing handholding support. The initiative aims to promote sustainable water supply and serve as a basis for policy shifts. The project is progressing towards its goal of achieving 24×7 water supply in rural Karnataka.
