Feedback Foundation facilitated a 4-day Residential Training Programme for Jal Jeevan Mission from 25th to 28th February, 2022 for Level-3 [Community level] at Rewari district of Haryana. 66 participants from 35 villages and representatives from Water and Sanitation Support Organisation [WSSO], Public Health Engineering Department [PHED] completed all 4 days of the training program. The objective of the training program was to provide hands-on training to the participants on various aspects of Jal Jeevan Mission of Ministry of Jal Shakti.

The training program included both class room sessions and field study. The technical sessions in the training program included topics on various aspects of JJM viz. approaches to water management, infrastructure for water supply scheme, water security and availability, water quality monitoring and surveillance, health, hygiene and sanitation practices, and convergence of JJM with Government programs etc. The field study empowered the participants with enhanced skills on various aspects of community management of drinking water supply scheme.

Feedback Foundation has been empanelled as a Key Resource Centre (KRC) with the Ministry of Jal Shakti, DDWS (National Jal Jeevan Mission), Government of India for conducting grass-root level training programmes in Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
