An awareness campaign to prevent noise and air pollution was conducted today at Besa Chowk under the leadership of Chief Officer of Besa Pipla Nagar Panchayat, Mr. Bharat Nandwar and Head of Sanitation Department, Mrs. Pooja Jadhav. This campaign was conducted by the team of Godrej Properties Ltd., Feedback Foundation Charitable Trust, an associate organization of the Nagar Panchayat under “Majhi Vasundhara 5.0”.

During the campaign, drivers were not only motivated to avoid blowing the horn unnecessarily but were also advised to turn off the engines of their vehicles while stopping at red lights. They were explained that turning off the engine saves fuel and helps reduce air pollution.

The aim of this awareness initiative was to increase awareness among drivers about noise and air pollution, ensure compliance with traffic rules, and encourage positive behavior for environmental protection. This campaign is a commendable effort towards environmental protection and community responsibility.
