The ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ has been observed in Agra from 27 th September to 3 rd October, 2021. It is an intensive, country wide campaign focussing on citizen participation, to be converted into a “Janandolan”, where small changes, at the local level, will add up to significant national gains. In line with this, FF team has conducted various activities in its intervention wards, which include:

• Mass awareness on segregation of waste at source in 4 categories viz. wet, dry, domestic biomedical and domestic hazardous waste.
• Clean up drives with citizen participation, under which public places and community toilets are being cleaned.
• ‘Safai Mitra Samman Samaroh’, and
• Making value-added products from recyclable waste.

Feedback Foundation [FF] is engaged by Agra Nagar Nigam for spreading awareness on Solid Waste Management [SWM] in the areas in the vicinity of Taj Mahal. Under this intervention, FF team is conducting Information, Education and Communication activities in 6 wards of Agra Nagar Nigam to help make it ‘A Garbage Free Area’.
