On 29th October, 2020 Feedback Foundation (FF) team conducted a training for waste collection boys, drivers of collection vehicles and helpers, at SI Office, 4S Chowk, Amritsar. The participants were sensitized about the importance of segregation of waste and the process of segregation of waste in 4 categories viz. Dry, wet, domestic biomedical and domestic hazardous, was demonstrated. They were asked to collect the waste from households in segregated form only and to put the waste in separate compartments in the collection vehicle. Chief Sanitary Inspector, Sanitary Inspector, Supervisors and FF team were present during the training.

FF has been engaged by Amritsar MSW Ltd. for conducting Information, Education and Communication (IEC) activities for citizens mobilization towards integrated Solid Waste Management in Amritsar City, Punjab.
