Feedback Foundation is conducting a Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) Programme to make 22 villages in Keonjhar and Sundergarh mining districts of Odisha, Open Defecation Free (ODF). The project is supported by Odisha Mining Corporation Ltd. (OMC).

Under this project, the villages are being triggered and regular follow ups are being done. 14 villages out of the 22 project villages have become ODF. Follow up is now being done in these villages to ensure sustainability of ODF and triggering is being done in rest of the 8 villages which are yet to become ODF. One such community triggering was done on 10 th June at Baliparbata village of Harichandanpur Block of Daitari Region in Keonjhar district. Many SHG members and villagers participated in the triggering meeting and nigrani committee was formed. They decided to start morning follow up from next morning and to do door to door visits to motivate the villagers and make their village ODF in a month.
