Water & Sanitation Support Organization (WSSO), Public Health Engineering Department, Haryana has engaged Feedback Foundation as the Implementation Support Agency (ISA) for carrying out the support and Water Quality Monitoring and Surveillance (WQM&S) activities under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in 3 Districts of Haryana viz. Nuh, Panipat, and Gurugram. The scope of work includes: Strengthening of Village Water & Sanitation Committee [VWSC] Water Quality Monitoring and Surveillance [WQM&S], IEC & Mass Mobilization, Source Sustainability, Grey Water Management, Operations and Maintenance [O&M], Revision of Village Action Plan [VAP] for 5 years & Convergence with various Govt. Schemes.

As part of this intervention Feedback Foundation is supporting Nuh, Panipat and Gurugram districts in carrying out following activities: Community mobilization regarding JJM and encouraging the adoption of tap connections, strengthening Village Water and Sanitation Committees (VWSC), Pani Samiti and PRIs, ensuring Functional Household Tap Connections (FHTCs) delivery via visits and campaigns, enhancing Village Action Plans, capacitating Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) for effective roles, designing IEC tools for water initiatives, raising community awareness on water aspects including rainwater harvesting, artificial recharge, water quality, water-borne diseases, water conservation, water storage, safe drinking water sources, and sustainability aspects, encouraging participation in water campaigns initiated by the Government of India (GoI) or the state government, setting up grievance redressal system and training village-level pump operators, electricians, plumbers, etc.
