Under the guidance of Mr. Bharat Nandanwar, Chief Officer Besa Pipla Nagar Panchayat, and the presence of HOD Mrs. Pooja Jadhav, an orientation session on Solid Waste Management Rules 2016 was conducted at Patel Loan on 05 August 2024. This initiative was a collaborative effort between Feedback Foundation, Godrej Properties Ltd, Swachhata Sarthi, Saathi, and the IEC team.

The primary objective of the session was to building capacity for effective Waste Management, enhance the understanding and implementation of Solid Waste Management Rules 2016 among the Collection, Transport & Processing Treatment (CTPT) staff.

The workshop involved detailed discussions and hands-on training on: 1. Identification and Segregation, 2. Proper Disposal Methods, 3. Regulatory Compliance, 4. Waste Processing Techniques.

The session was interactive, with active participation from CTPT staff, Swachhata Sarthi, Saathi, and IEC team members.

The workshop aimed to raise awareness about the importance of proper waste management and motivate participants to implement best practices in their daily operations.

This orientation session was a significant step towards empowering stakeholders with the knowledge and skills required to manage waste effectively and sustainably, contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment.
