Feedback Foundation has embarked on an ambitious project to establish a cutting-edge Sanitation Park in Varanasi Cantonment Board, thanks to a partnership and CSR funding support from SBI Foundation. The partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony held on May 16, 2025, between Varanasi Cantonment Board, SBI Foundation and Feedback Foundation. The ceremony was attended by prominent dignitaries, including SBI Foundation President Mr. Jaganath Sahoo, Feedback Foundation CEO Mr. Ajay Sinha, Varanasi Cantonment Board CEO Mr. Satyam Mohan, and VCB President Brigadier Anirban Datta SM. Stakeholders were introduced to the project’s objectives and its potential impact on waste management practices in the region. The Sanitation Park will feature a MRF to process dry waste and a Nadep composting area for wet waste management. Designed with a capacity of 5 tons per day (TPD), the facility will efficiently process all four types of segregated waste. This partnership marks a significant step towards enhancing waste management infrastructure in Varanasi, promoting sustainability, and setting a model for effective waste handling practices.
