On December 22, 2025, Umred Municipal Council hosted a felicitation ceremony to recognize outstanding contributions during the General Elections held on December 2. Organized in collaboration with the Council, the event was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Vidyasagar Chavan, Election Returning Officer and Sub-Divisional Officer, Umred, and presided over by Dr. Kulbhushan Ramteke, Assistant Election Returning Officer and Chief Officer. Municipal officers, employees, and organization representatives were honored for their dedicated efforts, which boosted voter turnout and ensured a free, fair process—upholding the Constitution’s democratic spirit.
