Team Feedback Foundation extended its support to Puri Municipality in its preparedness for Rath Yatra celebration on July 12, 2021. Mass triggering was conducted for sensitizing the people and shopkeepers of the surrounding areas to maintain cleanliness in their vicinity. A mass clean-up drive was also conducted around 1.5 km periphery of Shri Gundicha Temple which is the destination point of Rath. Shops at Grand Road were evacuated and fine imposed for open dumping of C&D waste/solid waste. Sanitation workers were monitored and all Garbage Vulnerable Points [GVPs] cleared. On the day of Rath Yatra, FF team was also involved in the shelter sheds and distribution of water bottles, juices at Grand Road. The Rath Yatra concluded peacefully and beautifully.

Feedback Foundation is providing mass mobilization support for Covid 19 preparedness, and technical and supportive supervision support to the Puri Municipality in management of solid waste aligned with Solid Waste Management Rules 16 and its associated Rules.
