A meeting was held with government stakeholders for Nawaeb district at Lae Travellers Inn, in which the CEO & Officer In-charge, District Development Authority of Nawaeb district, Education Manager and Inspector, LLG Manager and Elementary School Coordinator team of World Vision and Feedback Foundation team were present. The agenda of the meeting included, sharing project progress and update, ODF verification & certification protocol, discussing way forward including collaborative efforts and planning external monitoring of ‘Klinpela Komuniti Projek’.

Feedback Foundation (FF) is providing technical support to UNICEF, Papua New Guinea for ‘Strengthening the CLTS Capacity of four District Teams of Papua New Guinea viz. Central Bougainville, Nawaeb, Goroka and Mt Hagen’. The project aims to improve access to safe sanitation and hygiene behavior in 200 schools, 36 health centres and 800 neighbouring communities in the four pilot districts, by helping them achieve Open Defecation Free (ODF) status and improving their hygiene practices.
