The State Mission Director of Arunachal Pradesh, along with the Chief Engineer (CE) and Assistant Engineer (AE), recently visited the Rangia Solid Waste Management (SWM) plant. This visit aimed to explore innovative approaches to waste management and potential solutions for Arunachal Pradesh’s own waste management challenges. The team’s objective was to gain insights and expertise from the Rangia SWM plant, which could be replicated in their state. By learning from this model, they hope to improve waste management practices in Arunachal Pradesh. The visit demonstrates the state’s commitment to addressing waste management issues and finding sustainable solutions. This initiative is part of the state’s efforts to enhance its waste management infrastructure and services.
