A five-day Training of Mobilizers (ToM) has been facilitated by Feedback Foundation at Rigo District of Papua New Guinea [PNG] from 17 th – 21 st May, 2021. This workshop was aimed at enhancing the capacity of the Community Mobilizers on Community Led Total Sanitation [CLTS] approach and creating a critical and dedicated district resource pool to augment and accelerate the implementation of safe sanitation and hygiene related activities to make the District Open Defecation Free [ODF]. 37 government functionaries and WaSH facilitators from schools, communities and implementation partner of Rigo district have been trained in the workshop.
This workshop was organized by the Implementation Partner, Anis Foundation and supported by UNICEF and Government of Japan. This workshop is a part of the interventions being carried out under the UNICEF supported project titled, ‘‘Scaling up CLTS approach to support WaSH initiatives in Rigo district of Central Province, PNG’.
