A workshop for “Reducing plastic at workplace” was conducted in Rishikesh on 20^th April 2022 in which officials from all departments of Nagar Nigam were present. Feedback Foundation facilitator briefly explained the Plastic Waste Management Rules 2016 and the ill- effects of plastic in our life and how we can reduce the use of plastic at our workplace. Earthen pots were distributed to all the departments and all the officials were suggested to use the earthen pots at workplace in place of plastic containers for storing drinking water. Swachhata Brand Ambassador Mr. Ravi Shastri, Sanitary Inspector Mr. Santosh Gusain, MIS expert Mr. Gurmeet Singh, Waste Warriors’ team and officers from all the departments of Nagar Nigam were present during the event.

Feedback Foundation is providing technical support to United Nations Development Programme for implementation of Plastic Recycling Management Programmes in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.
