On Sunday, August 4, 2024, the Nagar Panchayat Besa Pipla and Ayurveda Vyaspeeth Nagpur Branch jointly organized the “Bhavya Ranbhaji Mahotsav” at Patel Celebration Lawn, Manewada Besa Road, Nagpur. The event, held from 2 to 4 pm, was a remarkable example of a zero-waste program, made possible by the collaborative efforts of Feedback Foundation, Godrej Team, and various officials.

To minimize waste, glass glasses were used for serving water, and crockery plates were used for food. This initiative not only reduced waste generation but also raised awareness among citizens about the importance of zero waste management.

During the program, participants received detailed information on: 1.  Zero waste management 2.  Composting wet waste 3. Proper waste disposal

The event was a resounding success, with citizens actively engaging with the concept of “My garbage, my responsibility.” Encouraged by the response, Nagar Panchayt at Besa Pipla plans to organize more such zero-waste programs in the future, promoting sustainability and responsible waste management in the community.

Tree plantation drives and cleanliness drives were conducted to promote greenery and rid public spaces of litter and debris.

Feedback Foundation’s World Environment Day celebrations demonstrated the power of collective action. As the organization continues to work towards a cleaner, greener, and healthier environment, these events serve as a reminder of the impact we can make when we come together.
