Puri Municipality is all set to achieve the status of the ‘Cleanest Dham’ in the country through sustainable solid waste management-owned solely by the community. In line with this, Feedback Foundation has been supporting the Municipality’s entire Solid Waste Management initiative. Lane committees are being formed, wherein the citizens are being triggered to improve the state of sanitation in their respective lanes. These lane committees are federated structures with the nomination of a president and a secretary. The district collector addresses the heads and members of these lane committees to motivate them further.
