Indore has been ranked cleanest city for the fourth consecutive year and is gearing up to continue the legacy in Swachh Survekshan 2021. Feedback Foundation team is supporting Indore Municipal Corporation [IMC] towards this goal and an event was facilitated under ‘Hum Hain Swachhta Rangers Campaign’, at Meghdoot Garden, in ward 28, Zone 5 of IMC in the presence of Divisional Commissioner, Dr. Pawan Kumar Sharma, Collector Mr. Manish Singh, Commissioner Ms. Pratibha Pal and citizens. Swachhta Rangers gave a presentation on Swachhta and 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). Rangoli competition was also organised with ‘Swachhta’ as the theme. ‘Swachhta band on wheels’ performed live during the event and best performers in the field of swachhta were felicitated.
Feedback Foundation has been empanelled by IMC as an agency for creating awareness in 3 zones (Zones 5, 7 and 8) of IMC for Solid Waste Management. As part of this intervention, FF is conducting awareness and IEC (Information, Education and Communication) campaigns for mass mobilization of all waste generators for waste reduction and segregation of waste at source. Capacity building workshops and SBM thematic drives are also being organized.
