Feedback Foundation with support of Puri District administration is organising ‘Badadanda Seva’ on every Saturday since March 6 th , 2021, a unique drive for motivation, awareness and ownership creation for sustaining the cleanliness of Badadanda (grand road) of Puri. This Saturday, April 3 rd , 2021 witnessed the 5 th ‘Badadanda Seva’, where more than 1000 volunteers comprising of vendors led by their associations (market/auto/taxi/bus/hotel/truck associations), voluntary and cultural organisation, members of NGOs, SHGs, Akhadas, Police, lane committees and general citizens, assembled at 13 zones of the road at 6.00 am and provided their service to uphold the purity of the Badadanda. A mega clean-up drive was conducted and the complete stretch of Badadanda was cleaned. Officers of the District Administration and Puri Municipality also participated in the initiative. Apart from this, Single Use Plastic [SUP] Exchange Kiosks were also set up, where people deposited SUPs and got T-shirts and Jute bags in return. Number of competitions on Swachhta viz. essay writing, drawing, debate, waste to best were organized. Citizens participated with great enthusiasm and certificates and prizes were distributed to the winners. COVID 19 vaccination was also provided to the participants.

Feedback Foundation is providing mass mobilization support for Covid 19 preparedness and technical and supportive supervision support to the Puri Municipality in management of solid waste aligned with SWM Rules 16 and its associated Rules.
