A state-of-art Sanitation Park has been developed at Chakrata Cantonment Board. This significant achievement is the result of collaborative efforts between Feedback Foundation, Godrej Properties Limited [GPL], and the Chakrata Cantonment Board (CCB). The project commenced in November 2022 and culminated in the creation of the Sanitation Park, after the removal of an astounding 3,580 tons of legacy waste. The Sanitation Park has been scientifically designed to handle the daily waste produced in Chakrata, with the ultimate goal of transforming Chakrata Cantonment Board into a Zero Waste ULB by the project’s conclusion in three years.

The inauguration ceremony received distinguished guests, including Brigadier Alin Saha, President of Chakrata Cantonment Board, Mr. Ajay Sinha, CEO of Feedback Foundation, Ms. Komaljeet Kaur, Manager-CSR of Godrej Properties Ltd, Shri R.N. Mandal, CEO of CCB, Councillor Shri Anil Chandana, and several other prominent figures. The teams from Feedback Foundation and GPL were honored and felicitated for their noteworthy contributions to the initiative.

Feedback Foundation (FF) is providing technical support to the Chakrata Cantonment Board (CCB) for implementation of an Integrated Decentralized Solid Waste Management system in all wards of the Chakrata Cantonment Board, following successful biomining and bioremediation of legacy waste. This project is supported by the CSR wing of Godrej Properties Limited.
