Mr. Ajay Sinha, CEO of Feedback Foundation (FF), was invited as a guest speaker to the Central Academy of State Forest Service to conduct a session on ‘Solid Waste Management’ during the 37th State Forest Service Orientation Program (2023-25). The session was attended by 45 trainee officers from the states of Rajasthan (42), Maharashtra (01), and Nagaland (02) on January 1, 2024.

Mr. Sinha’s extensive knowledge and experience added significant value to the program, providing the trainee officers with practical insights and strategies for effective waste management practices. Some of the topics discussed included waste perspectives, SWM Rules 2016, and their associated rules and policies, behavior change issues, segregation of waste at source, waste reduction techniques, processing and treatment technologies, decentralized SWM options, circular economy, and Swachh Survekshan.

The event was well-received by the participants, contributing to their overall training experience at the academy.
