Hands-on training was conducted with the Drinking Water & Sanitation Department in District Panchayat Bagalkot by Feedback Foundation to strengthen sustainable rural water supply systems. The programme focused on practical learning for frontline staff, engineers, and local officials on planning, operating, and maintaining village water supply schemes. Participants gained a better understanding of source protection, distribution network management, water quality monitoring, and community engagement. The training aimed to reduce system breakdowns, ensure reliable access to safe drinking water, and build local ownership. This initiative supports long-term sustainability and improved service delivery in rural communities across Bagalkot.
