A training and exposure visit for IAS and IRS officers was recently held at Varanasi Cantonment Board to showcase innovative solid waste management models. The officers toured the newly inaugurated Sanitation Park, a 5 TPD facility developed under ‘SBIF CONSERW: Waste No More in Varanasi’. 

Powered by SBI Foundation, co-funded by SBI Payments, and implemented by Feedback Foundation Charitable Trust, the park demonstrates an integrated, decentralized SWM approach. 

The visit highlighted practical solutions for ULBs to tackle waste collection and processing challenges, with officers engaging on operational models, community participation, and scalability. The Sanitation Park stands as a replicable model for sustainable urban sanitation across India.
