Feedback Foundation is providing technical support to Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) for undertaking various field activities pertaining to sanitation and waste management in Greater Noida. The project started in the first week of February this year and within just one month, the Jaitpur village has already become Open Defecation Free (ODF). To mark the celebrations, the entire village was decorated with colourful ‘rangolis’ and the residents welcomed the key members of GNIDA. A ‘walk of pride’ and a ‘tree plantation’ activity was also conducted, and everyone pledged to sustain the ODF status.
