Feedback Foundation relies on citizen mobilization for collective action to improve sanitation and safe hygiene practices. It is demand-driven and citizen-led, and emphasizes the sustainable use of safe, affordable and user-friendly sanitation facilities. The objective is to improve the health and well-being of all residents of the city.

It supports the government across urban India implement the Swachh Bharat Mission – (U) in coordination with the corporate sector, State Governments and international agencies by using Community Approaches to Sanitation (CAS) approach . This is done on behalf of the Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) to create ODF slums and decentralized Solid and Liquid Wastes Management, and facilitate them to achieve total sanitation.
