Feedback Foundation [FF] in association with the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) team launched waste reduction initiative in Greater Noida. Under this initiative a Bartan Bank was established in the Siddhababa temple in Khairpur Gurjar village. The main objective of this initiative is to replace the use of plastic plates, spoons, and glasses with steel alternatives and make the premises plastic-free. As part of the initiative, 200 steel plates, glasses, and spoons were provided by Mirza International Company to the temple.

The villagers were also educated by the FF team regarding the pernicious consequences of plastic usage and the various illnesses it can cause, through a comprehensive Plastic Waste Management workshop. FF team effectively communicated the dangers associated with plastic and the detrimental impact it has on the environment, human health, and the ecosystem. The workshop was designed to raise awareness and provide practical solutions for managing plastic waste effectively. The villagers were actively engaged in the discussions and learned about the importance of reducing plastic usage and adopting more environment friendly alternatives. The workshop was a great success and it helped in spreading the message about the dangers of plastic and promoting sustainable waste management practices in the village.
