Feedback Foundation (FF) is providing technical support to UNICEF, Papua New Guinea for ‘Strengthening the CLTS Capacity of four District Teams of Papua New Guinea viz. Central Bougainville, Nawaeb, Goroka and Mt Hagen’. The project aims to improve access to safe sanitation and hygiene behavior in 200 schools, 36 health centres and 800 neighbouring communities in the four pilot districts, by helping them achieve Open Defecation Free (ODF) status and improving their hygiene practices. As part of the interventions under the project, FF is providing Supportive Supervision Support in all the 4 districts. Hygiene sessions have also been conducted in 49 Schools and 5 Health Centers. School Hygiene Clubs have been formed, which are responsible for maintaining hygiene within the school and also in nearby communities. Till date, 66 communities have already been declared ODF and the ODF communities are benefitting from improved hygiene
